He even confirms it is easier to do everything strait from the plugin tab without ever using Edit Meta Data at all. In fact even the video Gopher made about it very clearly states to choose the "sort plugins" button, then click "Apply" to save it. According to the instructions it is NOT needed to sort your load order for Skyrim at all. Besides with any new mods you just have to read the description to know if it has any load order requirements.ĮDIT: I forgot to mention that the LOOT "edit meta data" button is used to customize and create rules for the mods yourself. Before anyone cries about how "outdated" BOSS is, it was updated on May 6, 2014. Till it is fixed I will just stick with BOSS.

Not only did it separate the ESP files it had them being loaded like this Hearthfire, other mods, Dragonborn, other mods, Dawngaurd, other mods, then finally the Main ESP file. I use one mod with multiple ESP files, one for the main game, and one for each DLC pack.

It also messed up my mod order and keeps trying to get me to use a SkyRe patch for a mod I have, even though I do not, and never have had, SkyRe installed. Sorry Etenie, but Shrapnel, Roscaria and other people saying it are right, LOOT needs some work still. I can no longer view my subscriptions in workshop for some reason, so if you're that unfortunate you'll need to figure out what's what among the mess of plugins the launcher grabbed for you. rebuild bash patch every time you do that and use loot for sorting. if you still can't get the game to load, disable mods one at a time. also make sure you downloaded and installed SKSE properly, some mods need it to work. also, wrye bash tells you if you are missing a master for a mod, that will stop the game from loading.
if you're using a ton of mods, no doubt more than one affects leveled lists, and wrye merges those changes so the mods can function together. in fact you probably Need to make a bash patch, and keep it rebuilt every time you change load order or add or remove a mod. you can also merge some plugins in wrye to lessen the load of individual plugins on the game. the other changes the load order, and your problem may be that you haven't rebuilt your bash patch in wrye bash after changing your load order.
Yeah just select 'save changes' no need to fish around the tabs on each individual plugin unless u have major issues and know what you're doing.
